Rambling

This is gonna be one of those meandering personal posts…. brace yourself.

• The Byron Cage album that i have has an amazing way of making me feel better….

• Today I was hungry at pan, and as could be predicted I got crankier and crankier as the night progressed.
  It’s amazing how the slightest thing can Tick you off when u are in the right frame of mind

• Constantly Being reminded lately of why i am on my hiatus……..
• I still want to leave…. Beginning to think i cant juggle pan and work.

There endeth my venting.

This is my first time being back at the office at this time and To be honest I missed it…. its almost like coming home. The other day My co workers were selling tickets to an event and they asked if i wanted 2. I, of course, told them no,  I only needed one. This caused a stir, “are you single Mark, You mean you couldn’t find anyone to take?” . I responded telling them that JPS was my wife.
Ever since that incident, however,  I have somewhat regretted it… I am not to sure i want my co-workers to have that image of me…. Mind you! it is the truth Work is my wife and Pan the woman on the side and they are very demanding and the truth is I don’t mind and i like my life as it is, yet, for some reason i dont want everyone in the office knowing this…. go figure.

Basicaly I am Saying…. BUSY!

This morning while listening to the latest CD I created for driving (best of 09…. HYPE!) I realize that every time i put dance-hall on a CD, Busy Signal ends up having the majority of the tracks…..
It made me realize that, at least in my own mind, I have been seriously underrating this exceptional artist. His latest Song “blame Life” Is Deeply Profound and Just a Boom tune. Trust Me when i say as much as he can get Crass and Violent with the best of them, i am hard pressed to see any other (non dread) artist with as many GREAT Conscious tunes.

Many have heard me say that Vybze Cartel is one of the greatest Lyrical Geniuses that Jamaica has ever produced… and where as he is clever and truly “interesting” to listen to…. I beginning to think … scratch that… I do think that Busy Signal is a better artist.

In light of this I have decided to add Busy signal to the exclusive list of artists i will buy music from……

This was the premise on which the movie Revolver was based. Fantastic movie!
It left me querying my own Motives and fears, and low and behold Mr Gold resides in my head too. Even with this realization however, defeating Mr gold is a mammoth task.

TESTING: Windows Live Writer

 

It seems windows is finally catching up to Google/Firefox. For some time now i have been useing Scribefire( a plugin for Firefox) to do what Windows live is just trying to do…

I just love getting work done.

Those statements are true. Accomplishing a task is like cocaine for me, i need it to live.
As of today, right now in fact, I find myself frustrated, worried and in a near panic yet having loads of fun. 
Currently on my plate is more work than i am sure i am able to pull off. And yet I cant complain because the truth is the prospect of accomplishing all these tasks is almost orgasmic no matter how impossible it may seem.

The hard part of having this much things to do is determining where to start….. I have from now until 9pm to get work done and i cant begin to imagine where to start… i could almost cry… and laugh.

Of course to deal with this, organizing ones self and writing down all the tasks ahead are useful, but i often feel like time spent compiling and sorting my “to do” list is time wasted…. real work could have been accomplished in the almost 1 hr it took me to list and prioritize all the things i have to do…. :-/

The truth is I hate work but love getting stuff done, this is my cocaine.

Disagreeing Agreeably

Recently i heard some in an interview saying that to work with ppl one needs to learn to disagree agreeably.

This skill comes with time. There are those who are born with this, but the rest of us have to work at developing it.

I for one am a far way away…
