It’s not yet 2012 but I already have not 1 but 2 anthems for the upcoming soca season.
If the quality of music remains at this level this will be the best soca season since 2007 and the very least it would be on par with 2008 and i say that without apology.

Now first thing to note is, as usual, Machel is all over this list… The man is the greatest soca artist of ALLLLLLL TIIIIIME (this too, is being said without an ounce of remorse or apology). The only surprise in the list is Kerwin who is a good artist but never usually produces anything that keeps me playing on repeat. I am now eagerly awaiting the other soca greats and i fully expect the 2012 season to be a blast.
